Previously JSA was engaged by Federation of NSW Housing Associations (now CHIANSW) to undertake research into the reasons for community resistance to affordable housing and effective ways of building support for affordable housing. Building on this research JSA developed a Tool Kit to assist parties interested in growing the affordable housing supply which included the main reasons for community opposition, evidence on the most effective ways that support could be built and a range of tools to support proponents of affordable housing developments.
