JSA prepared a study for Inner West Council that identified options to achieve mixed tenure urban development at the Bays Precinct. The target tenure and housing mix was based on work carried out by JSA previously for South Sydney Region Of Councils (SSROC) assessing housing need in the broader area.
The final Strategy contained a suite of measures including market delivery, development of market housing on government owned land and provision of subsidised housing using value capture mechanisms.
Council is currently considering the report and expected to use the findings to inform submissions to the state government regarding policy options.
