JSA is preparing a Social and Community Needs Assessment of a planning proposal for a mixed-use development with a function centre, gym, pub or licensed club, fast food outlet, service station and medical centre. The Social and Community Needs Assessment is prepared in accordance with the DPHI Local Environmental Plan Making Guideline requirements for Planning Proposals.
The Assessment considers the rezoning in terms of the need for, and likely catchment of, the proposed services and facilities in the context of the existing demography, urban development, service and facilities context, projected population growth and likely employment created by the proposal.
The Assessment will provide recommendations and mitigations to address any adverse social impacts identified.
