Reviewed and updated organisational policies and procedures to incorporate the Going Home Staying Home Practice Guidelines 2014 and the National Regulatory System for Community Housing Registration.
Evaluation of Tribunal Duty Advice Services
Legal Aid NSW
JSA carried out a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of the outreach advice services provided by Legal Aid NSW at four tribunals in NSW including the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Social Security Appeals Tribunal, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal Administrative and Equal Opportunities Division and the Consumer & Commercial Division.
The project employed a range of research methods including field observations at Tribunals, extensive interviews with clients before and after advice services were provided, focus group discussions with Tribunal staff, interviews with duty advice solicitors and analysis
