We assisted this interagency with group facilitation and planning services to develop a Terms of Reference and Work Plan to improve coordination of services between providers in the housing, mental health and support service system in order to deliver better coordinated and integrated services to clients, and to maximise client access to the full range of services for which they are eligible.
Planning for Legal Needs in NSW
Community Legal Centres NSW
JSA developed model strategic planning process to assist Community Legal Centres better meet legal need within their communities. We identified a set of socio-economic indicators that highlight communities or areas most likely to experience both ‘met’ and ‘unmet’ legal need. Data for these indicators was analysed for the 153 LGAs in NSW to provide needs-based evidence for future planning.
Legal Needs Assessment Framework & Toolkit
National Association for Community Legal Centres (NACLC)
JSA expanded on the legal needs planning project completed for CLC NSW with an analysis for each state and territory in Australia. The Legal Needs Assessment Framework and Toolkit allow CLCs to estimate and analyse legal need in the context of disadvantage in their communities, and provides an evidence-based strategic and service planning.

Feasibility of an Arts Purchasing Scheme in NSW

Research and analysis of the feasibility of introducing an Arts Purchasing Scheme in NSW as part of an initiative to stimulate the contemporary visual arts sector in the state. The review provided a comprehensive account of arts purchasing schemes in the UK and Tasmania, and insights from representatives from existing international and national schemes, NSW gallery owners and the National Association of Visual Artists.
