JSA has developed and applied social impact assessment (SIA) and economic impact assessment (EIA) frameworks to meet the individual needs of each project and socio-economic context using well-understood principles and methodologies, including frameworks developed by us.
Dr Stubbs provides expert evidence on the Social and Economic Impacts of a range of development proposals, including:
- planning proposals for proposed rezoning;
- residential developments including in-fill affordable housing, aged care facilities, boarding houses, backpackers’ accommodation, supportive accommodation, group homes, co-living housing, housing for seniors and people with a disability, retirement villages, caravan parks, manufactured home estates and student accommodation;
- public and commercial developments including cemeteries, child care centres, medical centres, places of worship, private hospitals, private schools, transport infrastructure; and
- sensitive land uses such as licensed premises, gaming venues, sex services premises, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres, mines and mining infrastructure, and energy infrastructure.
